We're having problems reading in pfb files generated by an MS
Windows/Performer 3.0 application on perfly running off a RedHat 8.0 machine
w/ Performer 3.0 (gcc3 version w/ libisl.so dependency) installed. No
errors are reported and the texture seems to load fine but there is no
geometry visible. There is no problem when viewing the file on the Windows
perfly version or the gcc2 version of Performer 3.0 on RH Linux 7.2. Is
this a known problem and is there a work around for the gcc3 version. Here
is the command line, needed as the geometry is very large spatially:
> perfly -l 2 -s 0 -z "1000,40000000" -p "0,-30000000,0" -b ".01,.01,.3"
flight.pfb
Also, as expected we can't load the pfb file in the Performer 2.5
version of perfly on Linux. The following error is given:
"flight.pfb" has a newer pfb version number [26].
In summary, is there a way to get a pfb file generated by an MS Windows
application to load and display on 1) a Performer 2.5 application on RH
Linux 7.2, and 2) getting it to load and display on a Performer 3.0
(gcc3 version w/ libisl.so dependency) application on RH Linux 8.0?
Thank you,
Bryan
