Hello,
Looking through the archives I see that this mailing list sometimes
stretches beyond Performer to technical issues regarding large SGI
machines, so hopefully you'll forgive the
slightly offbeat question.

I've just taken receipt of an Onyx300 and am trying to run two
keyboards+mice on *one* xserver. The idea is I have a lab keyboard+mouse
and a simulator room keyboard+mouse,
each displaying the same video image. Currently I have to reboot the
xserer to switch devices - or get into the machine and swap the usb
plugs around.

Is there some way of setting up the xserver to read either keyboard, or
a script I can run to do the swap in software, without rebooting the
xserver?

I've toyed with ioconfig but am not sure what I'm doing!

Any help much appreciated,

Guy Wallis
