I've been doing this with my GeForce4 ti4200 from asus under linux.
You have to use softgenlock (
http://netjuggler.sourceforge.net/SoftGenLock.php )
and a real-time linux (this is all explained in the softgenlock doc).
I plugged my cheap asus glasses in the // port and used modified code
included
with softgenlock to drive them. unfortunately I don't know if the
glasses were
driven correctly as I didn't manage to get enough current from the //
port to darken them..
(any idea?)
but the screen seemed to behave correctly displaying alternatively right
/ left buffer.
you have to set up a virtual screen twice as large, and softgenlock will
swap the
display between the left and right side of the buffer on each vert sync.
hope this helps!
