Hi,

I've just introduced FlexLM licensing for our Performer-based linux
software. Now the demo licence does now work any more:

PF 'performer2_5' License check failed. Reason:
PF Exact Error Message from License Manager is:
PF --> License server does not support this feature (-18,147)
PF Performer was unable to acquire a license.
PF Set $PFNFYLEVEL to 4 for more details, or visit
PF http://www.sgi.com/software/performer/
PF This is a fatal error condition.
PF Read the error messages for an explanation.

The LM_LICENSE_FILE points to the correct file, an an strace output
shows that the file is read:

stat64("/var/flexlm/license.dat.txt", 0xbfff8098) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
   stat64("/home/dr_te/license.dat", {st_mode=S_IFREG|0644, st_size=86, ...}) = 0
   open("/home/dr_te/license.dat", O_RDONLY) = 3
   fstat64(3, {st_mode=S_IFREG|0644, st_size=86, ...}) = 0
   old_mmap(NULL, 8192, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS, -1, 0) = 0x40d7d000
   read(3, "FEATURE performer2_5 sgifd 1.0 p"..., 8192) = 86
   read(3, "", 8192) = 0
   _llseek(3, 0, [0], SEEK_SET) = 0
   read(3, "FEATURE performer2_5 sgifd 1.0 p"..., 8192) = 86
   read(3, "", 8192) = 0
   brk(0x8573000) = 0x8573000
stat64("/usr/share/Performer/license.dat", 0xbfff8098) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)

Nevertheless, it does not accept the license and looks into other files.

   Performer version: 2.5.2
   FlexLM: 8.2

We don't do any calls to the licensing before pfInit.

Andreas
