Hi all,

After some experience with Inventor-API Coin3D I'm beginning with
Performer (Win32):

What would be a good choice under Windows for modelling and especially
texturing?

I have got MultiGen Creator 2.5 but problems with perfly/pfconv to load
the results. flt files may contain jpeg textures but loading that to
performer, probably doesn't work. I converted it to rgb(a) by the
Creator Texture-Editor-plugin, but that exports only SGI formats.
=>
So I'll have problems to reuse or manipulate this textures later by
other (under Windows common) tools.
Does anybody know a tool, that reads SGI rgb and rgba files and
can save it to png, bmp or ...

Steffen
