Terry,

My guess is that your file is OpenFlight version 15.7, which introduced
several new record types, including a mesh.

A mesh is simply a tri-strip, tri-fan, etc. Prior to version 15.7, only
individual triangles were stored in FLT files.

As far as I can tell, the Performer loader does not recognize these new
records.

If possible, try saving the file to version 15.4. Hopefully this will
convert the mesh data to individual triangles (which should be a set of
face records).
