and the gdb output
looks like it does not like the radeon_dri.so
how should i proceed to solve this
and please dont say change teh whole system lol

Hi Patrick,
What operating system are you running this on?
I don't think your problem with pfChooseFBConfig is actually
causing the crash..
Can you turn up the notification level (setenv PFNFYLEVEL 7)
and send us the complete output?
Also, you could try to run a debug version of the code and get
a stack trace (use dbx on irix, gdb on linux).
Let me know if you need further assistance with the above steps.
