We're having the same problems here. For some reason 3.0 doesn't find the
correct visual (2.5.2 doesn't seem to have a problem with it though) on
our WildcatIII 6210 (using AcceleratedX).
We've tried it on NVidia/Xfree86 as well and that seems to work ok.
