Hello List

My name is Patrick Pagano and i work for the Digitalworlds Institute ++at++ the University of Florida. I am working on an SGI ONYX mainly with performer. I have spent the last few weeks attempting to understand exporting models from Maya4.5 Windows with PolyTrans to generate .objs with .mtl data files. We are doing a campus map as well as our own individual art projects on the SGI. I woudl like to know if there are examples out there that have Audio imbedded or driven from inside Performer. Currently in our cave environment i have resorted to real-time DSp via pd and Max/msp for Audio but i would like to have the audio from withing the SGI. Is this the proper place to ask for assistance of this kind? What i really need is a few working objects with sound so we may learn and begin to code our own environments.

I woudl also like to inquire about the use of Joysticks for intercation inside of performer. I have seen http://this.is/tpg/products/unwinder/

Has anyone had experience with this product?

I am hoping to learn lots from this list
