has anyone tried the vrml-loader with performer 3.0 f. linux redhat 8.0?
I get the following errors (using perfly):

PF Warning: pfdFindConverterDSO() - Could not load
DSO for extension "wrl"
PF Warning: pfdLoadFile() - Unable to load file
Tempel-Innenteil-Feuer_resized.wrl because of problem finding
pfdLoadFile_wrl

/usr/lib/libpfdb/libpfwrl.so is where all the other loader-DSOs are
located (actually it's a link to the existing libpfwrl.so.3).

there have been messages about similar problems with the inventor
loader, where installation of inventor-rpms compiled with gcc2.9x
resulted in comparable errors.

does anyone know more about this?
