Hello Performers,
A quick update regarding the Performer 3.0 downloads:
As reported, Performer 3.0 applications on all platforms print a "This
beta for Performer has expired" message and exit. This is a bug, not a
problem with your licenses. We'd added a hardcoded time-bomb during the
Beta program set to expire January 01, 2003, but didn't add it to the
release checklist and forgot to take it out!
We've re-spun the Performer 3.0 libraries to take out the hardcoded
check. That's done & tested, and the new version should be put back up
on the website later today or on Monday.
Temporary Workaround: Set your system date/time to anytime prior to Jan
01 2003 and re-run the application.
I'll post another message here on info-performer when the new files go
up on the website.
