pfuProcessManager does work in a limited fashion under linux.
you can assign non-degrading priorities. there isn't currently a
user-level mechanism for locking or isolating processes to specific CPUs
under linux, therefore that portion of the pfuProcessManager will not
work (it will return failure/error codes).
