hi,
I'm trying to create some app which shows the face of a man. This face
can be animated to give the impression as if he's speaking words he
reads in from a textfile (I use text-to-phoneme conversion and have
about 20 'visemes' of this face which match one or more of the phonemes
I get).
The problem is that on Onyx2, the face does not animate when it's
supposed to animate (the mouth does not move), while on Linux it works
fine.
When I exit my application after I started the animation (both performed
with a keypress) I can just see for about half a second that the mouth
is changed ! This means, to my opinion, that the face is animated 'on
the background', but I don't see the result of this animation on my
screen unless I exit my application (this can be concluded because the
position of the mouth is different when I exit my app at different times
after starting the animation).
Does anybody know what could be the cause of this or give any leads as
what might be the problem ? I really can't figure out what's going on...
thanks for any help,
ive.
