I think one of the 'popular' methods for video recording is to generate a
log file containing all the relevant simulation parameters and viewpoints
(i.e. current viewpoint, position of car/plane/boat A, position of B, etc.)
Then as a separate (but related application), re-read the file and redraw
each frame with the appropriate objects put back to the appropriate places
and pfuSaveImage()
That way, you should be able to get a full picture from each and every frame
while maintaining frame rate during 'recording'.
