I am trying to figure out the best way to produce a digital recording
for a Performer application that runs on a 4-CPU Onyx IR (4 GEs, two RM
boards). What I would like is a digital recording, preferably
in quicktime, but other formats are possible, at "full" resolution
(1280 x 1024). I tried using mediarecorder to capture off the frame
buffer while running the performer simulation, but this produced only a
few frames before the app locked up. Which leads me to the following
questions: If I want a 1280x1024 digital recording of a Performer
simulation, one that I could, for instance, play back at full resolution on
a Mac, what's my best way to do the recording? A software solution is
preferred, if it doesn't mean saving googolbytes of data. What solution have
you tried, with what success?
Thanks in advance for your comments, and any website links you can give.
Glenn
