Thanks, I'll give it a try. But when comparing the
Performer libraries under RedHat7.3 and SuSE8.0, I
noticed that running ldd on /usr/lib/libpf.so under
RedHat included the line:
libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3
whereas running the same command on SuSE had no such
line. How can the installation from the same CD reveal
two different library dependencies on different Linux
distros? Will updating the compiler really matter if
the C++ library is not linked in anyways? I tried
explicitly linking in the libstdc++-lib6.2-2.so but
that didn't work either.
