use Performer libs for default gcc.
Or
install gcc3.1 on Suse ....

( though for now do not know where to take them ... all places i knew now
have gcc3.2 rpms ...for suse ...
possibly you have to make your own gcc3.1 by compiling sources.
which is in C++ part of Performer is not completely compatible ..)
