Hi there.

I have an offline process that builds a Performer scene in
memory and then writes it to a .pfb file for later viewing.
Because I'm using Performer library stuff, I need to call
pfInit(), but I don't need, and may not have, access to an
X display. If $DISPLAY doesn't point to a running X server,
pfInit() gets stuck waiting for a response.

Is there some way to tell pfInit() not to try and attach
to an X display, or alternately a stub X server I can
point it to?

Thanks.
