Hi Eric,
Yes. You may want to create your cliptextures before loading any tiles.
When a tile is loaded traverse the tile to each geoset. Look at the
geostate for that geoset and see if you should replace the geostate with
one that has the cliptexture you created at the beginning. You could even
build your tiles with a "dummy" non-cliptexture texture to make it easy
to find in the traversal. This way your data base tools and loaders don't
need to know anything about cliptextures.
