Thanks for that - it now works for test models constructed within the code.
Only problem now is the pfdGeoBuilder replaces polys with triangles which
means I can't use any loader to import a wireframe model.
Hopefully this will be my last question for a long while and the answer may
help others since it surely can't be so uncommon....

In the times of IRISGL, Performer used to draw a short triangle strip
instead of a quad. Now that we have OpenGL Performer (without IRIS GL)
this has been corrected.
Unfortunately in wireframe mode there are still two line strips drawn
(for the two former triangles). Maybe this is intentional, maybe this
was simply not fixed...
In other words: you may try using polygons instead of quads. Dont forget
to specify the length array!
