Hi pfFriends !
I want to use billboards with stereo. I'm working on a workbench where the head is spatially tracked (mobile point of view). I
have 2 channels : one for each eye.
My problem with pfBillboards is that they turn the geometry in the direction of each channel. I would like to have a geometry
that has -one- orientation for both eyes and what I get with pfBillboards is -two- different orientations for the same object.
This is very disturbing in a stereo mode. The goal here is to have the geometry turned for both channels in the direction of a
unique moving point (one of the two eyes, or a point between the eyes).
Is there a solution to use the pfBillboard class with stereo ? For instance, is it possible to disable for one channel the
reorientation of the billboard ? Or to modify the function that computes the orientation of a pfBillboard ?
I would like to know if some of you has already encountered this problem and if you have some examples for me to build a "stereo
billboard" ?
Thanks
