[info-performer] performer on debian

hi all,

I'm using the unstable distribution of debian. I converted the .rpm
packages to .deb using alien and installed it.

performer programs compile fine but give undefined reference to pretty
much all performer function calls. seems like a name mangling problem. is
anyone aware of this problem?
