[info-performer] Spaceball reset

I am trying to run trackd to use a labtec spaceball 4000,
but running into a problem trying to reset it. [ DeviceOption CAVEBall reset
yes ]
Trackd printout and sb4000.conf is below.

This morning I manage to reset the spaceball just once,
when i first connected it to the port, but i haven't been able to do
so again since. I tried using another port but that didn't work either.
why does it beep twice even when i have [ DeviceOption CAVEBall reset no ] ?
has anyone ran into similar problem reseting labtec spaceball 4000?
