Check your GeoState, and make sure that the pftransparency mode is set to
high_quality.

read the man on pfTransparency, this will give you the real tokens, but you
set it in the geostate. The simpler transparencies have about 5 different
levels.

Subject: [info-performer] alpha transparency for lines

Hello,

I'm working with LINES pfGeoSets, that are non-indexed, and have
color per prim.

I am trying to animate the alpha of the RGBA of the lines,
but after careful examination I am inclined to conclude that
lines have a very low 'alpha-depth'.

Only a few discrete alpha levels can be detected my onyx and o2.
It looks like lines have 2 bit alpha?
Could this be?

I don't think it's a fault in my anim code, as animating
the RGB parts of RGBA does show a gradual continuous animation,
whereas animating A only does not. I'm puzzled.

Many thanks,

  Bram Stolk
