Hi,

I have a Performer 2.2 application that runs well on Octane computer.
The application renders a simple polygon map.
The polygon map has no level of detail or special features.
It has just about 1800 triangles colored with blue (sea) or brown (ground).
Normally, Performer should have no performance problems at all.
On Octane computer, the map is rendered fine without any performance
problem.

The problem arise when running this application on Octane2.
What happens is that on certain condition, that is to say, when viewing the
map
from GOD's view (perpendicular) and doing a zoom-in close to the ground,
suddenly I have a sharp drop in my frame rate.
When viewing the Performer statistics display, I can notice that the DRAW
become very large,
without any good reason.
It is as if Performer were drawing a huge quantity of polygons, while
actually
it does not. It draws only 1800 triangles.

As the problem arise only on Octane2 and not on Octane, I begun to think
that may be I am facing
with a polygon clipping problem in hardware or something like that.

If anybody has an idea to solve this strange mystery, it will really help
me.

Thanks,
