Calling all people interested in virtual environments ...
Appologies for any cross-posting. Starting soon, the journal Presence will
be including reviews of virtual environment (VE; virtual reality) related
books. I have been appointed as Book Reviews Editor, and am looking for a
small number of people to undertake reviews for me. I am looking for
some people who are VE specialists (VE developers and researchers), and
others whose expertise lies in other domains (e.g., geo-informatics or
engineering design) and fall more into the category of VE users.
If you are interested then please email me with a short biography and a
description of your particular areas of expertise/interest.
Example areas are:
- graphics rendering
- human factors (what?)
- haptics
- medical training
- geographical visualisation
- architectural design
- etc.
And finally, if you're writing a VE-related book then please contact me.
There's a good chance that we'd like to review it.
many thanks
roy
