undefined references when linking

Hi
 
I'm running RH7.1 and Performer version 2.3.
 
I'm compiling my files and linking my app using "-g -O" options and
everything works fine. When i compile my files and link my app using only
"-g" it doesn't want to link. The problem is that it states "undefined
reference" to certain objects (eg: pfChannel, pfGroup, etc). I'm using the
Performer libs in /usr/lib/Performer/Debug.
 
Has anyone seem something like and can you suggest a fix?
