Hi all,
This is probably a very easy one:
we reinstalled a DELL box with RedHat 7.2 (previously 7.1) and
found that some of the loaders aren't working. I was wondering if
this is compiler/name-mangling related..
I'm using nvidia's 1.0-2313 drivers (seem to work fine so far). I
just
thought I would say that - I don't think its related.
For example, obj, flt, pfb files all load fine.
But dted, dem and iv files all fail as follows:
1848 PF Debug: pfdFindConverterDSO() - DSO search path
is:
1848 PF "/usr/lib/libpfdb:"
1848 PF ".:"
1848 PF ":"
1848 PF "/usr/lib/libpfdb:"
1848 PF "/libpfdb:"
1848 PF "/usr/share/Performer/lib/libpfdb"
1848 PF Debug: pfdFindConverterDSO() - trying
"/usr/lib/libpfdb/libpfdem.so" version "(null)"
1848 PF Debug: dlopen said:

Of course, for Inventor, I haven't installed the rpm's yet to get
libInventor.so
As I said, this worked fine with RH7.1. I wanted to upgrade to
performer 2.5, but my entitlement ID
didn't work. But, generally speaking, would going up to 2.5 solve
this problem??
I really want to use some DEM datasets withASDs ...
thanks,
ml
