G'day,
Hmm, just got a flyer from Multigen-Paradigm/Vega, it appears that
their 'new' product is based around VSG or 'Vega-Scene-Graph' and is
surplanting Performer as the basis of their product. I wonder
how VCP's performance compares to Performer's and I also wonder
why they would do this given that Performer is available on SGI/Linux,
they had a very functional 'clone' of the Performer API under
Windows based platforms, and that Performer seems to be very actively
developed. I'd also wonder what functionality VCP provides that couldn't
be 'added' to Performer. Strange indeed.
