Mostly because the SGI site for Performer has no mention of it, which tends
to imply that it likely hasn't been tested with Performer yet. Why not
follow the directions for Performer (which is my main use for the Linux
system).

Opps, wait a minute, I know why not, because the directions don't work 8-)

Thanks for the info. I haven't gotten around to trying either the lesstif or
motif solution yet, but I suspect one of them will work...
