I'm very sorry to 'spam' this mailling list so often...
Perhapse SGI doc and demos are not usefull enought (or maybe I'm very bad
with it... perhapse it's that, in fact ;-))

Does anybody know about collision detection with volumes?

For example, a car in the street, and a tree (not billboard, but real small
mesh, it's just for example, or a trafic light, or a road-sign)
As the car run fast, if at t=0 time it is just in front of the tree.
At t=1 time, the car is just behind the tree.
The question is:
how detect that the car had crash into the tree?

We cannot detect it by segments.
So, we must use 'bounding boxes'.

I tryed with Performer Cylinder, but I just can't detect collisions
I think that I'm wrong with my code, so, if anybody knows the right mode...

I tryed without any segment, as suggest in the Performer doc, and with the
PFTRAV_IS_GSET mode on.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Fred
