Hi there performers and optimizers ...

I would like to ask if there is a white paper detailing the
differences between Performer and Optimizer and how would one go
about deciding which one is the best for their application.

Does SGI have any input on which product will be supported for
years to come, even though I know this is very confidential
information?

Also why should SGI provide two scene graph APIs and not combine
them both into one?

Thank you for any comments on these subjects ...

PS. Maybe this will discussed at the upcoming Friends of Performer
meeting but unfortunately I will not be attending.
