I can load several original Inventor models into perfly directly. When I use pfconv to convert them to pfb files, the resulting file core dumps like this:

% pfconv rightmiddlefine.iv test.pfb

% perfly test.pfb
PF Info(2): All 8 processors available on this machine.
PF Info: DBASE Process 35389 running on CPU 0.
----------- Performer Process State --------

Proc: ISECT pid:35398
Proc: DBASE pid:35389
Proc: CLOCK pid:35388

PF Notice: pfdLoadFile_pfb: Loading "test.pfb"
PF Warning: pfdLoadFile_pfb: "test.pfb" has a newer pfb version number [21].
PF Warning: It may not load correctly.
Bus error (core dumped)

% versions | grep performer
I performer_dev 06/26/2001 OpenGL Performer 2.4 Development Environment
I performer_eoe 05/16/2001 OpenGL Performer 2.4.1 Run-Time Environment

What does the error really mean and what is the fix/workaround? These conversions used to work and older pfb files load just fine.

Thanks
