Thanks, it works fine and the performances are much better with my app
(18fps instead of 12). The Linux OS has been improved a lot too, the KDE
is now really stable and ergonomic.

Except that I ve got a problem that seems Zbuffer-related : using the
RH6.2 with SGI Propack for VW, everything was OK, now using the latest
nVidia driversand RH72, I ve got the little objects of my model that
flicks. If I reduce the near and far delta, it becomes clean.
I know I am using huge values for the far parameter as I am working on
the Internation Space Station + the Earth visualization and I need them,
even if for a moment I can work with a closer and more little earth in
the background.

Finally, the question is : what has been changed in those drivers ? Is
there any tuning possible ? The performances are much better (18fps
instead of 12).

Thank you,
    Marc.

PS : any texture clipping supported with Linux ??? I need my earth
rotating in the background using 10s Mb of texture and everything won t
fit in the texture memory, maybe the solution is the texture subload I
ve read about yesterday, I think ?
