Hi again,
I am running Performer 2.4.1 on a beta version of Red Hat 7.2, and am having
trouble getting pfuInit to run successfully. The basic problem shows here:
...
11481 PF Info/Internal: arena_create: Creating arena file /scratch/pfShmemFile.sEQhUi (976.56MB)
11481 PF Info/Internal: Arena pointer: 40d5e000
11481 PF Debug/Resource(22): pfInitArenas() Allocated 1000000KB: 0x0x40d5e000 - 0x0x7ddee000
...
Enter bvdpfuInit
bvdpfuInit: getrlimit(RLIMIT_AS, &rlim): cur, max = 4294967295.000000 4294967295.000000
bvdpfuInit: getrlimit(RLIMIT_DATA, &rlim): cur, max = 4294967295.000000 4294967295.000000
bvdpfuInit: getrlimit(RLIMIT_FSIZE, &rlim): cur, max = 4294967295.000000 4294967295.000000
bvdpfuInit: getrlimit(RLIMIT_MEMLOCK, &rlim): cur, max = 4294967295.000000 4294967295.000000
11481 PF Fatal/Resource: pfStruct::new() Unable to allocate 12 bytes from arena 0x40d5e000.
Try using pfSharedArenaSize() to increase the arena size
(currently 1000000.00 KBytes) and check for adequate setrlimit()
values and available space on swap (or pfTmpDir()).
Any idea what the problem is?
Many thanks,
Erik
