Hi Robert,

No, Performer does not provide any sound support.

Check out the maturing OpenAL ++at++ www.OpenAL.Org.

The OpenSource PLIB (http://plib.sourceforge.net) also contains a versatile
and portable sound audio API (SL/SM).

Cheers,

Murray

Subject: Performer and Sound

Hi,

Does Performer proivde sound support in any way, shape, or form (ie: lets
say i have a missile firing from a helocopter, and as the missile flies
away, there is a gradual degradation of its "roar". And if you change
perspective, you hear the sound coming from a certain direction, etc etc
etc). How about any OpenGL functions? Would anyone know if this supports
it?

Thanx
Robert
