Hey Thomas,
Autocad traditionally has done software-only rendering so many things we
worry about in realtime graphics aren't issues with a software renderer.
Haven't see the problem you speak of but here's a few things to try:
o Turn off backface culling (the 'b' key if you're using perfly) - you
may also need to turn lighting off.
o Convert to a different format if possible -- I used to use a piece of
freeware on windows called "Crossroads" which would read DXF files
o Import to a different modeller and re-export (seriously ... I've done
it many times).
o I used to use a tool called dxf2iv which you could probably dig up on
the internet. A 15 second search on the web pointed me to
http://caad.arch.ethz.ch/~dave/misc/dxf2iv.readme
o One or more combinations of the above.
