thanks Allan,
one thing we did find so far is if we reduce the pixel
size from 24 bits to 16, it speeds up the frame rate
quite substantially. also, if we reduce window size
from 1280x768 to 1024x768.
I'm going to collect some stack trace info for the
engineers today. do you want me to cc you?
The other thing I'm going to do is install the CD
version of pf 2.4.x which CD's just arrived. When you
guys shipped the cluster, they just loaded the software
on from where ever they keep it on NFS over there.
version info from master-channel:/usr/include/Performer :
pfpfi.h:#define PFI_VERSION_NUMBER 0
pr.h:#define PF_MAJOR_VERSION 2
pr.h:#define PF_MINOR_VERSION 4
pr.h:#define PF_MAINT_VERSION 2
pr.h:#define PFQSYS_MAJOR_VERSION 0x200101 /* int */
pr.h:#define PFQSYS_MINOR_VERSION 0x200102 /* int */
pr.h:#define PFQSYS_MAINT_VERSION 0x200103 /* int */
pr.h:#define PFQSYS_IRIX_MAJOR_VERSION 0x200120 /* int */
pr.h:#define PFQSYS_IRIX_MINOR_VERSION 0x200121 /* int */
