If you use standard perfly source, then the '0' channel will be one of your
two stereo channels. pfGUI will attach another pfChannel to
this '0' channel (hard coded in pfGUI source), resize the channel
to allow space for the GUI and then draw the GUI into the space it
freed up. The origional data is drawn into the reduced space - FOR
THAT CHANNEL.

But, you are in stereo, so the other stereo channel is still drawing into
a full sized pfChannel. To make matters worse, since the pfGUI does
not clear the space taken by the GUI in the other stereo buffer (ie the
'not 0 channel' one), any geometry shown in the space occupied by the
GUI will still be there when you switch the GUI on.

SO...
You must resize both the left and right pfChannels (0 and 1) when you
turn the GUI on,
AND
You must do one of the following;
1 Clear (yourself) the same space on channel 1 as taken by the GUI
on channel 0. The GUI is only drawn on channel 0 so it will
appear faint in stereo mode.
or
2 Copy the GUI window picels that are drawn in channel 0 to the
same space in channel 1.
or
3 Modify the source for pfGUI to clear the space, resize and draw
the GUI for all stsreo pfChannels.
or
4 Wait for pfViewer (see Allan Schaffer's last e-mail to the Performer
group).
or
5 ...well... I do have some code for a modified perfly which does the above.

Good luck!

Dan
