Greetings,
I've been running Performer 2.4.1 on my RH7.1 system
(with an NVIDIA driver) with no problems. When I
upgraded to 2.4.2-2 via the rpms, perfly became unhappy.
While I was still in su mode, perfly would just hang during
the loading process (see below). If I tried to run perfly with my
regular user account, X would completely crash and/or
the video card was reinitialized, putting me back at my
account login screen.
I then did a complete uninstall and reinstall of 2.4.2-2,
with similar results, except the attempt to run perfly in
my user account actually caused the video card to reinitialize
several times before finally just becoming unresponsive (at
which point I had to do a hard reboot).
I uninstalled 2.4.2-2 and reinstalled my original 2.4.1
rpms which seem to be working just fine. Has anyone seen
anything like this, or have any suggestions?
