Performer 2.4.2 for linux and multiprocess

At the friends of Performer gathering at SIGGRAPH, it was mentioned that the
multiprocess restriction on the demo version of Performer for Linux was
going to be lifted. For some reason I thought this was going to apply to the
2.4.2 release. Well, I just tried 2.4.2 and the demo version still doesn't
allow multiprocess. Is this a bug or is the change intended for 2.5 only?
