unable to load iv files

hi,

I have tried to load iv files but i get the following error.

Could not load DSO for extension *.iv.

I think someone else had posted the same problem earlier, and i tried
the solution adviced but it didn't work. I am working on linux 6 .0 and
performer version 2.4.

I dont' have any libInventor.so.* files, can that be the problem ??
