Not a real big deal to install Red Hat on 230 and 330
For 320, the problem is harder but you really can do it.
320 has a specific architecture with the cobalt bus.
The easiest way to succeed in you install is to retrieve on SGI web site
(if still available) the content of 3 floppies to start your install.
-one boot floppy
-2 kernel Red Hat 6.2 floppies
if you can't find them I can send you a copy
Then you'll have to upgrade your linux till the version you want to have
If you want to do this only to run performer, you'll really be disapointed
because there is
no hardware accell so it is as slow as the PIII 500 Mhz can do.
