On our GeForceII, I never had any performance problems, until
last week!
We have this 1 dataset that has terrible performance (suddenly).
May have to do with the version nr of the nvidia driver?

Anyway, the fps went from 0.1 to 30 or so, when I run X in 16bpp
instead of 24/32 bpp.

This was with cavelib3, pf2.4, and real tracking, non-simulator.
(ascension spacepad)

Other datasets remain OK, in both 24/32 and 16 bpp.
