Sure, we've been using GeForceII/MX cards and connecting each video
input for the HMD to a different channel. With nVidia cards the X
configuration is actually very easy. The drivers allow you to configure
the X server for two screens, but applications still see it as a single
large screen. The drivers are well-documented, so it shouldn't be too
hard for you to set it up.
