Shared memory allocation trouble.

Hello,

I see this has been visited several times before, but the solution is posted
on a web site that no longer exists (Ran Yakir's).

Anyway....

I have one performer app that lets me allocate over 760MB shared memory (I
have 2 G in machine, and ample swap space).
Another app cuts me off at about 512MB. Anything over that, it cuts the
request in half. (There is over 1G free memory left as shown by gmemusage)

THe PFSHAREDSIZE is set ok, and setrlimit and other things should be fine,
since another app gets 760MB without problem.

Turning on the notify to debug does nothing.

Does anybody have the solution to this?
