I have used the nvidia 1.0-1251 drivers on both RedHat 6.2 and 7.1
without problem due to antialiasing modes. Now most of my work is done
on an SGI 330 but I have used other hardware. I have tried out all the
__GL_FSAA_MODEs on 1280x1024 and 1024x768 both 24 and 16bit. I usually
run my applications in 1280x1024 24bit but will routinely test out other
modes to see where the best performance lies. I have had crashing
problems but they are intermitant and have usually been coding mistakes.
Are you consistantly seeing crashes that are related to setting the
FSAA_MODE? Are you running multiprocess? Are you downloading a lot of
textures (I have seen some oddities with lots of texture download)?
