I have installed Performer on my Linux laptop and ran into a problem: none of
the controls in perfly show up. There is a black box on the left side where the
controls window should be. While running, I also get this message:

   Overlay windows not supported in Linux

If I run /usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/libpfutil/movie, the widget controls
are displayed. I should mention that I get this error message:

    pfTexture::apply() - bad number of components -1

Here's my machine info:
   Chembook 3015E
   Pentium III 1Ghz
   ATI Rage Mobility-P 16MB
   512MB RAM

   Red Hat - 6.2
   Performer - 2.4
   XFree86 - 3.3.6-20
   glibc - 2.1.3-22
   Mesa - 3.3 beta
   Lesstif - 0.93.0

Thanks.
