Hi,
I have an 'old' Intergraph TDZ 2000 GT1 (dual CPU) in which I replaced the Wildcat with a GeForce2Ultra (Gainward), and installed both Linux RH7.1(smp) and W2K, plus the latest nvidia 1.0 drivers for both. On both platforms I experience problems:
** Linux: I have to disable AGP in order to get a proper display via 'Option "NvAGP" "0"' in XF86Config. If not, I get a black screen and the system hangs when X starts.
** W2K: when starting ANY application using D3D or OGL, I get a black screen and the system hangs. Equally when try to adjust the display properties (right click on desktop->Properties). DX8.0a is installed.
Can anyone indicate where to look for a solution? I assume it has something to do with 'old' hardware components/settings of the TDZ2000.
Thanks for any suggestion.
Jo
