You create a texture with your image in it, then every frame in your
channel draw callback you draw a quad that fills the screen that is
textured with that texture. Turn off depth writes and depth test when you
do this (glDisable(GL_DEPTH_TEST), glDepthMask(GL_FALSE)). After you do
that, turn depth test and depth mask back on.
